  • The applicant must submit a letter of recommendation through the Common Application, which should be provided by a school teacher or the counselor.
  • The applicant should submit the School Report completed by their high school guidance counselor and transcripts directly from their school to the University of Miami via the Common Application, Slate.org, SCOIR, Parchment, or emailed to mydocuments@miami.edu.

Selection process:

  • Selected semi-finalist candidates for the Stamps Scholarship will be asked to write a brief essay in response to a provided prompt.
  • Finalists will be chosen based on a review of their applications, supporting documents, and essay responses. Those selected as finalists will be notified in late January, coinciding with their admission decision.
  • Finalists will be interviewed by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation, with scholarship winners announced by early March.
